Lactation Smoothie

This recipe is a healthier alternative to naturally boosting mums milk supply and immune system. The Baobab used in the recipe is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. It has about ten times more vitamin C than oranges and many women enjoy eating the baobab fruit pulp during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The powder can be added to desserts, drinks, and snacks! 

Lactation smoothie ingredients:
  • Frozen berries
  • 1/2 Banana
  • Handful of fresh blueberries and strawberries
  • Splash of Almond Milk
  • 1/4 cup of filtered water
  • 1/4 cup Oats
  • 1 tbs Flaxseed
  • 1 tbs Baobab
Pop all ingredients into nutribullet and mix on med to high until it has reached your desired texture. We like ours a little chunky so blend for approx 10 seconds.
